Allma, a Portugal-based microalgae supplier has launched a new chlorella snack called Chlorella Crunches which is a new concept that blends rice cereals with sun-grown Chlorella vulgaris powder to create a crispy snack and ingredient solution.
Chlorella Crunches contain Allma’s sun-grown chlorella powder together with white rice powder sourced from Europe. They are free of GMOs, gluten and all major allergens. They have a wonderful crispy texture.
They are available in several sizes, shapes and flavours and with varying concentrations of chlorella. They can be included in both sweet and savoury products. They can be seasoned and eaten alone as a healthy snack or included in yogurts, breakfast cereals, snack bars, soups and salads, etc.
The sun-grown chlorella is a rich, natural, 100% vegetable source of protein, including nine essential amino acids. It also contains significant amounts of omega-3 and omega-6 oils, complex carbohydrates, phytonutrients such as lutein, beta carotene, chlorophyll, and zeaxanthin, and a variety of vitamins and minerals.
